Reviews 10km Ely 10km Course: This
is a mainly flat loop course, which goes downhill
for the first 1.5km, then flat until 8.5km, rising
back up to 9km, before flat finish. Facilities: Few
toilets, showers, parking can be a pain if not there
early Comments:
Start is near the parking area. Enter early as
race usually fills by November. Travelling: 1
hour
Framlingham
10km Course: Uphill through the
village 3 times. Course starts at bottom of the
hill, then finishes just after the top of it on
the 3rd trip up! Facilities: Toilets, Showers,
plenty of parking Comments: 10 min walk to the
start.
Travelling: 50 minutes
Langham 10km Course:
This is a fairly flat loop course, which only has one
main hill about 1km, and a gradual rise from 7km to 9km, but
is generally good for fast times. Facilities: Few toilets,
showers, sufficient parking Comments: 3 min walk to start
before race is not a problem, and play area at the
finish is useful for families
Travelling: 30 minutes
Martlesham 10km Course: This is a mainly flat 4 lap
course, with a loop
of the field to finish, and is good for fast times.
Although some get bored doing the 4 laps! Facilities: Few toilets,
no showers, limited easy parking, advise early
arrival Comments:
Collecting race number on the day was a pain if
you were not there an hour before the
start.
